All Kumeu Therapy Centre counsellors are committed to maintaining your privacy. Kumeu Therapy Centre counsellors are members of NZAC and/or NZCCA and therefore adhere to their code of ethics.

All information discussed with your counselor will be kept confidential, unless your counsellor believes you are a danger to yourself or others. In this situation confidentiality is wavered in favour of safety.
All Kumeu Therapy Centre counsellors receive supervision, and it is possible that your particular case may be discussed at a supervision session. If this is the case, all distinguishable details are disguised in order to maintain your privacy.
Counsellors may take notes of your counselling session, to refer to and track the progress you are making together. You are entitled to a copy of these notes at any time. These notes are not at any time shown to a third party.
